EDUCATION

PH.D.

2020 – *anticipated 2025

I am a graduate student in the Social Psychology doctoral program at Florida State University.

At FSU, I am working in the Evolutionary (Social) Psychology Laboratory under the mentorship of Dr. Jon Maner.

My studies are funded by the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF GRFP).

FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY

Bachelor of Science (B.S.)
2018 – 2020

I conducted research in Dr. Jon Maner's Evolutionary Social Psychology laboratory. Specifically, I investigated the topics of social hierarchies and different emotions (e.g., anger, envy).

I also served as Vice President of FSU's chapter of Psi Chi International Honor Society in Psychology; as an associate editor for The Owl, Florida State University's peer-reviewed undergraduate research journal; as a Program Leader for the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP), and was involved with various honors organizations on campus.

PALM BEACH STATE COLLEGE

Associate of Arts (A.A.)
2016 - 2018

In the Summer of 2017, I realized that I needed to complete a social science course requirement, so I decided to take general psychology ("seems easy enough," I thought).

Long-story short, I ended enjoying the class so much that I changed my major from business and accounting to psychology. I conducted my first research project with Dr. Ted Cascio. You can find more details about this project on the "Research" tab at the top of the page.
